a sad thought
salty drops of tears falling like rain in a shadowy corner a whimper in the darkness.
hiding in the void like a scared kitten avoiding exposure avoiding the light. secluded in a forest of folds and springs her own world beseiged sinking from within. in a nutshell is she drowning unknowingly gasping for breaths thirsting for love. i come ... i hold my arms open wide for her in a bearhug encircled drying her tears away. so fragile a spirit so sad and hurt a heart shaking in a storm of rage a giant in her sights. creeping shadows lengthening reaching ... groping trying to engulf her as she kicked wildly away. yet in a dream i saw she shrank away from me she turned her back on me she bade farewell to me. so fragile in her state i'm saddened for the loss a wicked twist of fate a reality coming my way. yet not at all lost she'll come .. that i feel an Angel through a mist at peace at last and smiling. when she grows .. i'll go when she flies .. i'll smile when she weeps .. i'll listen when she loves .. i care.--------------------
